Onehunga's Heritage Festival takes place on Saturday 17 September. This year's celebrations have a special Irish flavour as an ode to Ireland, Onehunga’s adopted second team for the Rugby World Cup.

2. Victorian Afternoon Tea Devonshire tea at Onehunga Community Centre after the walk Time: begins at 3pm. $5.
3. Concert at Onehunga Community House Starring Soojin Baek, operatic singer, with Greg Patel, Tenor. Soojin is a classically trained operatic singer with extensive experience in performance and teaching and has sung on the stage in Italy, Australia, Korea, UK and New Zealand. Songs and arias will include Danny Boy, All I Ask of You, Sweet Lass of Richmond Hill, Climb Every Mountain and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Time: 4pm. Admission $20
